Man City 5 – Leicester 1
A clip is doing the rounds from Man City’s tunnel cam following last weekend’s 5-1 win over Leicester City.
The writing was on the wall for Leicester when Raheem Sterling opened after three minutes.
Yet, the Foxes when into the break level after Jamie Vardy scored against the Sky Blues.
In the second half Sergio Aguero took over. The Argentine scored four goals to move onto 21 goals for the season.
Kevin De Bruyne also lit up the match with a hat-trick of assists.
Kevin De Bruyne & Harry Maguire
After the game, Kevin De Bruyne was caught having a quiet word with Harry Maguire in the tunnel.
The England and Belgian internationals swapped jerseys, before KDB said “take some points off the big boys for us.”
Maguire was heard replying that out that Man City are “16 points” clear of Man United at the top of the table and they don’t need much help.
After the Leicester game yesterday De Bruyne told Harry Maguire to “take some points of the big boys for us please”, that shows the exact mentality of this City side for me atm.
They aren’t taking the league for granted at the moment despite the gap between us and United.

For the record, De Bruyne’s request was a little futile.
Leicester have now played City’s rivals Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool twice, while they still need to take on Tottenham for a second time this season.
The Foxes couldn’t help City even if they wanted to!
Basel vs Manchester City
While the lion’s share of the attention in the Champions League tonight will be on the Juventus vs Tottenham game, Pep Guardiola will be hoping to avoid any slip up in Switzerland.
Basel are arguably the weakest team left in the UCL, and Man City should have no problems reaching the quarterfinals.
The Times on Tuesday suggest that Leroy Sane could start against Basel.
Sane was injured in the last round of the FA Cup. Indeed, such was the fear about how bad Sane’s injury was, many believed that was the reason Man City tried to sign Ryad Mahrez from Leicester on January 31.
