Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.
James returns from his travels with – no surprise here – news of misfortune falling him on his trip. That aside, we try and make sense of what has been a remarkable month for Arsenal in the transfer market, with Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez gone, and the arrivals of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Has it been a good window? Why was there no focus on reinforcing midfield or defence? And how are we going to address those issues with what’s now a smaller squad? We then answer listener questions about Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette, a potential new manager after links emerged this morning, how to cope without the handsomeness of Giroud and lots more.
Remember, you can send us questions via which we’ll try and get to each week. Send them to either @arseblog or @Gunnerblog (or both) using the hashtag #arsecastextra. Best to send them Monday morning so they get noticed more easily.

Also, if you’re a fan of the show, please leave us a rating/review on iTunes, it’d be greatly appreciated.
