Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and whether that gets you overly hyped up or rolling your eyes, we can all get behind some free food. Below are plenty of eateries with discounts for lovers, and if romance isn’t what you’re after, don’t sweat it—there’s a deal for everyone.
Auntie Anne’s: Downloading the chain’s My Pretzel Perks app will get you a buy one, get one free heart-shaped pretzel in either original or cinnamon sugar. But to get in on the action, customers need to download their app 12 p.m. EST on Feb. 13.
Hooters: When it comes to Valentine’s Day, they’re not playing. If you upload a photo of your ex to their website and then shred it, not only will you get serious satisfaction, but you’ll score yourself buy one, get one 10-piece boneless wings.
TCBY: If you and your sweetheart are craving frozen yogurt, head over to TCBY where they’re doing buy one get one 50% off all day— can’t beat a cheap date.
Halo Top: Calling all New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles residents, you can get a free pint of Halo Top delivered straight to your honey, or you know, straight to yourself, on Feb.14. Postmates Fresh is teaming up with the low-calorie ice cream brand for the promotion and there’s no purchase necessary to get in on it—but act quick, it’s only while supplies last.
Schlotzsky’s: Spend $7 at participating Schlotzsky’s stores and they’ll give you a free bottle of their signature hot sauce in the name of love!
McAlister’s Deli: For guests dining in, kids eat for free (two complimentary kids meals per adult entrée purchased).
White Castle: Nothing says “I love you” quite like sliders and a side of fries. White Castle is taking reservations for its 27th annual Valentine’s Day dinner. You can snag a reservation on Open Table.
Macaroni Grill: $45 will get you and your date an appetizer, two entrées and a dessert to share. Available Friday Feb. 9 to Wednesday Feb. 14.

Dunkin’ Donuts: For a chance to win a sweet trip for two to any city in the U.S. that has the coffee chain, share via Instagram how your friendship or relationship runs on Dunkin’ from Feb. 6 through Feb. 15. Qdoba: The Mexican fast-casual restaurant will give you your choice of a burrito, bowl, quesadilla, tortilla soup or the smokey habanero BBQ brisket, gratis, if you share a kiss with someone at the register. Choose your partner wisely, we’re talking free food here.
Pressed Juicery: Is your Valentine a health guru? Send them a “Valentine’s Day Gram”, which includes a free mini 2 ounce juice. Plus, you’ll get your own free mini juice in strawberry almond, citrus, or charcoal lemonade (redeem in stores only).
Whataburger: You could be one of three couples to win free “date nights for a year” in the burger chain’s Valentine’s Day contest. Post a photo on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram of a Whataburger date night using the hashtag #WhataloveContest now through Feb. 8.
Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits: Stop by to buy a heart-shaped Bo-Berry biscuit for your honey—now through Feb. 14 at participating locations. The treats are baked with berries inside and topped with vanilla icing. Plus, you can make cute (and free) customized e-cards on their site.
Chuck E. Cheese’s: If you head over to the family-friendly chain on either of the two days leading up to Valentine’s Day—Feb. 12 and Feb. 13— you’ll find yourself gifted one free brownie square (per guest) from 6 to 8 p.m.
Jack in the Box: The hamburger franchise is here to relieve your V-Day blues. On Feb. 14, if you tweet a taco emoji and a telephone emoji to @JackBoxon Twitter (instead of your texting your ex), Jack will respond with not only words of encouragement but a code to redeem free delivery with Doordash on any of your favorite indulgent menu items. Keep in mind this is all first come, first serve for the first 500 people to tweet them. You’ll also need to spent a $10 minimum on food or beverage—but that shouldn’t be too difficult when there are both curly fries AND churros on the menu.
