Real Madrid vs PSG on Valentine’s Day
There will be plenty of males (and some females for sure as well!) checking their phones for live score updates on Valentine’s Day.
That is because one of the stand out Champions League matches takes place on Wednesday evening.
Real Madrid play PSG on Wednesday night in the Bernabeu for the first leg of one of the most important ties in the first knockout rounds.
Real Madrid have won the tournament in successive seasons. And, PSG have spent big to win that trophy from the Spanish giants.
Besides Manchester City and Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG were favourites to win the tournament so this is an enormous tie from whatever angle you look at it.
Real Madrid rest Bale for PSG & blitz Real Sociedad
Both Real Madrid and PSG played their league games on Saturday, as they prepared for the big Champions League game.
Real Madrid took another step to securing a top four spot in La Liga by crushing Real Sociedad in the first half.
Goals from Lucas Vazquez, Cristiano Ronaldo (2) and Toni Kroos put Real Madrid in control of both the game and their hopes of a top four finish.
Gareth Bale was left on the bench for Real Madrid who are clearly wrapping the Welsh Express in cotton wool ahead of the match against PSG.
Neymar & PSG prepare for Real Madrid
PSG took another stride to the Ligue 1 title with a 1-0 win at Toulouse.
The only goal of the game came from Neymar, who scored on 68. Angel Di Maria bagged the assist.
PSG rested the likes of Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva completely and Marco Verratti (who came off with 30 minutes to go).
Neymar played the whole game, which was something of a surprise considering how he hasn’t always played in tough PSG away matches this season.

Neymar reveals ankle injuries after Toulouse win
If you follow Neymar on Instagram, and nearly 90 million people do, you will know that Neymar often posts a message before every game.
And, then after matches, the Brazilian superstar hits Instagram Stories.
After Toulouse it was no different, and Neymar posted a picture of his ankle injuries following the Ligue 1 win.
The picture came with a “No pain, no gain” message from Neymar which suggests he should be fit to face the might of Real Madrid…
Was it a cheeky dig at the Toulouse defenders for kicking him too much?
