Kevin De Bruyne asked Leicester’s Harry Maguire for favour

Man City 5 – Leicester 1

A clip is doing the rounds from Man City’s tunnel cam following last weekend’s 5-1 win over Leicester City.

The writing was on the wall for Leicester when Raheem Sterling opened after three minutes.

Yet, the Foxes when into the break level after Jamie Vardy scored against the Sky Blues.

In the second half Sergio Aguero took over. The Argentine scored four goals to move onto 21 goals for the season.

Kevin De Bruyne also lit up the match with a hat-trick of assists.

Kevin De Bruyne & Harry Maguire

After the game, Kevin De Bruyne was caught having a quiet word with Harry Maguire in the tunnel.

The England and Belgian internationals swapped jerseys, before KDB said “take some points off the big boys for us.”

Maguire was heard replying that out that Man City are “16 points” clear of Man United at the top of the table and they don’t need much help.

For the record, De Bruyne’s request was a little futile.

Leicester have now played City’s rivals Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool twice, while they still need to take on Tottenham for a second time this season.

The Foxes couldn’t help City even if they wanted to!

Basel vs Manchester City

While the lion’s share of the attention in the Champions League tonight will be on the Juventus vs Tottenham game, Pep Guardiola will be hoping to avoid any slip up in Switzerland.

Basel are arguably the weakest team left in the UCL, and Man City should have no problems reaching the quarterfinals.

The Times on Tuesday suggest that Leroy Sane could start against Basel.

Sane was injured in the last round of the FA Cup. Indeed, such was the fear about how bad Sane’s injury was, many believed that was the reason Man City tried to sign Ryad Mahrez from Leicester on January 31.

Scottish Sweethearts! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Spend Valentine's Eve in a Castle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received (another!) royal welcome in Scotland on the eve of their first Valentine’s Day as an engaged couple.

The pair arrived in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh shortly before lunchtime on Tuesday, where they were met by a crowd at the Esplanade in front of the famed Edinburgh Castle. They were officially welcomed to the city by the Royal Marines Scotland Band.

Harry, 33, who became Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Marines last year, and Meghan, 36, used the occasion to shake as many hands as possible and greet well-wishers who had been waiting in the shadow of the castle through the morning.

Harry and Meghan spent some time greeting the massive crowds that had lined up to meet them during their day in the Scottish capital city. Meghan thanked people for waiting outside in the chilly Scottish weather.

Meghan, fittingly, wore a tartan coat from iconic British brand Burberry for the occasion, with a black turtleneck, black pants and a green crossbody bag from Scotland-based handbag designer Strathberry.

Edinburgh is the latest stop on Meghan and Harry’s informal “engagement tour,” featuring day trips to the four corners of the United Kingdom before they marry on May 19. The couple’s last trip away from London was to Cardiff, Wales, where they visited another historic castle.

Within the walls of the magnificent castle — which sits atop volcanic rock — Meghan and Harry are set to observe the firing of the One O’Clock Gun. The tradition began in 1861 to mark time for ships in the Firth of Forth, the strip of water between Edinburgh and northeast Scotland.

After the castle visit, the couple is scheduled to swing by Social Bite in Edinburgh’s New Town district, which runs social enterprise cafés throughout Scotland and distributes 100,000 food items and hot drinks to homeless people each year, as well as employing people who have experienced homelessness. (George Clooney, who stopped by the shop in 2015, is a fan.)

The day’s last stop? Holyroodhouse, Queen Elizabeth‘s palace in Scotland. There, they will mark Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018, an initiative that aims to inspire Scotland through its young people by celebrating their achievements, strengthening their voice on social issues and creating new opportunities for them.

‘Arsenal: Tottenham’s Harry Kane was too fat’

Tottenham beat Arsenal 1-0

Spurs fans are still enjoying themselves.

On Saturday at Wembley, Tottenham beat Arsenal 1-0 in the north London derby.

The win boosted Tottenham’s hopes of finishing the season in the top four.

As for Arsenal, are they now out of the running? The Gunners are seven points behind Spurs in the race for a Champions League berth.

Harry Kane was again the hero for Spurs last weekend.

A left-wing cross was headed home by Kane for the only goal of the game.

‘Arsenal: Harry Kane was too fat’

Tottenham are now gearing up for Tuesday’s Champions League last-16 first-leg match at Juventus.

Ahead of the game, Corriere della Sera have spoken to former Arsenal star Liam Brady about Spurs.

Brady has used the occasion to explain why Kane, who started his career at Arsenal, was allowed to leave:

Unfortunately yes. He was chubby and not very athletic, but we got it wrong. Even Tottenham loaned him out to the lower leagues three or four times though.

On previewing the Juve game, Brady bigged up Tottenham’s chances of going through:

Juve are not favourites, it’s 50-50.

Tottenham has well organised, they have a good Coach and three great forwards in [Christian] Eriksen, [Dele] Alli and [Harry] Kane. You need to stop them in midfield to prevent those three from hurting you.

Does Juve’s attack convince me? Not completely, because I think we’ve already seen the best of Higuain. It’s hard for him to make the difference in Europe, he’s too static.

Palace Officials Just Shared Meghan and Harry Wedding Details — Including When to Set Your Alarm!

It’s going to be another fairy-tale royal wedding when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot on May 19.

The newlyweds will ride in a horse-carriage through the streets of Windsor after exchanging their vows at St. George’s Chapel, palace officials confirmed on Sunday. At the 2011 royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the carriage ride through London was one of the day’s most romantic highlights.

Also on Sunday, the palace shared exactly when royals fans will need to set their alarms for the big day. The service will begin at 12 p.m. U.K. time, or 7 a.m. EST/4 a.m. PST. The carriage procession will depart an hour later, at 8 a.m. EST/5 a.m. PST.

With fewer than 100 days until the couple say “I do,” officials shared a new round of details, including confirmation that the couple will be married by the Archbishop of Canterbury The Most Revd. and Rt Hon. Justin Welby. He will conduct the marriage ceremony, but the full service at the chapel will be led by The Rt Revd. David Conner, the Dean of Windsor.

After the wedding, the couple will parade through the streets — leaving Windsor Castle via Castle Hill and preceding along the High Street through Windsor Town before returning to the castle along the Long Walk.

“They hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day,” said the statement from Kensington Palace.

The palace will not say whether invitations have already sent or comment on the number of people who will be expected at St. George’s Chapel on the big day. (It can hold around 800 guests.) Those who land one of the golden tickets will be invited to a reception at St. George’s Hall, one of the luxurious state rooms inside the castle. The couple will then join the reception after returning from the carriage procession.

After a break in the late afternoon, there will be a private evening reception given by Harry’s father, Prince Charles. No word yet on whether that reception will be held inside the state apartments or at another venue within the Windsor estate, such as Frogmore House – where the couple’s romantic engagement photos were taken.

Elton John Reschedules Concerts Originally Set for Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Wedding Weekend

Has Elton John scored an invite to the upcoming royal wedding? He certainly seems to be planning for it!

On Friday, it was announced that the 70-year-old singer was rescheduling two performances of The Million Dollar Piano in Las Vegas that were originally scheduled for May 18 and 19 — the weekend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding.

The pair will tie the knot on May 19 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

According to a statement on John’s website, the two performance dates were changed because of a “scheduling conflict.” A rep for John didn’t return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Although the “Rocket Man” singer has yet to confirm he’ll be attending the royal wedding, John was friends with Harry’s late mother Princess Diana and has previously spoken out about how wonderful it’s been to see Harry, 33, “totally in love.”

“Well, I spent some time with him in Sicily last summer, and I could tell that he was totally in love,” John said during a new interview on the U.K. show ITV’s Lorraine in January. “He didn’t really discuss much personally, but he said ‘I’m in love,’ and I thought, good for you.”

John went on to say that Harry’s brother, Prince William, 35 — who has been married to Kate Middleton for almost seven years — seems just as happy.

“Both those boys seem to be ecstatically happy,” he said. “And that’s all you want people to be, no matter who they are.”

During the interview, the singer also spoke about Diana, calling her a “great friend,” even though they had some trying moments in their friendship, which were eventually resolved before her death. The Grammy-winner famously performed “Candle in the Wind” at her funeral at Westminster Abbey on September 6, 1997.

“She was very much loved,” he said. “She was a controversial figure in some respects, but not to me. I loved her because she did so much for AIDS and she was a great friend to me. We had a falling out, but we reconciled in the end. It was an extraordinary summer. Gianni Versace was murdered , and then Diana rang me up and we reconciled. And six weeks later, I’m in the same house, and she’s dead. It was extraordinary, and I just couldn’t believe what was going on.”

In January, the singer announced his final global tour before he retires to focus on his family with longtime partner David Furnish.

“I’ve had an amazing life, I’ve had an amazing career,” he said. “My life has changed, the priorities in my life have changed, my priorities are my children, my husband and my family.”

How QPR missed the chance to sign Tottenham’s Harry Kane (BBC Video)

QPR & Tottenham’s Harry Kane

A brilliant story was told by Nedum Onuoha on BBC radio on Sunday.

Now 31-years-old, the former Man City defender is plying his trade for QPR in the Championship.

And according to Onuoha, the story around Loftus Road is that QPR once had the chance to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Onuoha claimed that when Harry Redknapp was the QPR manager, Rangers had the option to close a deal for Kane.

QPR felt that the striker wasn’t clinical enough in front of goal so they passed.

What a terrible decision!

Tottenham 1 – Arsenal 0

Tottenham boosted their own top four hopes with a north London derby win at Wembley on Saturday. And, simultaneously left Arsenal in a world of worry about their league position.

Spurs moved up to third with the victory and can now look forward to the rest of the season, Champions League and FA Cup, with renewed optimism.

For Arsenal it now looks like being a case of putting their eggs in the basket of the Europa League, in order to seal a spot in the Champions League next season.

Harry Kane does it again!

Some Arsenal fans ridiculed Harry Kane when he first emerged on the scene.

It seems unlikely that any Gooners doubt the Spurs striker these days, thanks to his record breaking exploits and consistent goals against Arsenal.

Kane simply loves playing against the Arsenal, a club he was released from as an 8-year-old.

On Saturday, Kane’s latest winner for Spurs versus Arsenal came in the 49th minute. From a Ben Davies cross.

Harry Kane Trolls Piers Morgan

Spurs fans have plenty of reasons to love Harry Kane.

His goal exploits have emerged as on par with Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi.

Whilst there is little doubt that Harry Kane loves Tottenham as much as their own fans.

Tonight, Spurs supporters have another reason to hail their number 10, for his social media game.

On Saturday morning, Arsenal’s most famous fan Piers Morgan suggested that Pierre Emerick Aubameyang would enjoy the derby more than Kane.

Cue an epic Kane response on Twitter.

In fairness to Morgan, he didn’t take today’s 1-0 defeat and Kane’s goal lying down, although what sort of response could he legitimately bring to the table!
