David Beckham Sits Front Row at Victoria's Fashion Week Show with Their Kids: 'Proud of Mummy'

Victoria Beckham‘s show at New York Fashion Week was a family affair.

David Beckham and three of the couple’s kids – Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, 6 – sat in the front row at the James Burden Mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side as the fashion mogul presented her Autumn/Winter 2018 show on Sunday morning.

After the models hit the catwalk, Victoria greeted the crowd in a chic all-black ensemble and made sure to give each of her family members a quick kiss.

The entire family put on a stylish display, with the athlete — who recently launched a soccer team in Miami — opting for a classic black suit and tie, and the couple’s two sons wearing long coats. Daughter Harper has clearly inherited her mom’s passion for fashion, wearing a sweet white dress and burgundy coat, and her hair in two French braids.

Noticeably missing? The pair’s son Brooklyn, 18, who moved to N.Y.C. to attend college and study photography. Despite his absence, both mom and dad made sure to give him a shout out on their social media pages.

“Kisses x #VBAW18 love u @davidbeckham @romeobeckham@cruzbeckham #harper,” the Spice Girl captioned a black and white still featuring her family. “x miss u @brooklynbeckham #NYFW”

David shared a selfie with his three kids on Instagram and wrote, “Show day… Proud of mummy @victoriabeckham@romeobeckham @cruzbeckham#harperseven we miss you @brooklynbeckham”

But Brooklyn is still a big supporter – he most recently joined his dad in September as Victoria debuted her Spring/Summer 2018 line at Fashion Week in the Big Apple.

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the popular fashion brand, but Victoria is keeping a sense of humor.

“Show break!” she captioned a silly pic showing her legs peek out from the bottom of a bathroom stall where she’s donning white slippers.

Man United receive huge David de Gea transfer boost: report

Real Madrid have elected to dedicate their attention towards signing Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois instead of David de Gea in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The European champions had initially turned their attention towards signing Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, only for the Spaniard to sign a new contract with the Basque club.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claimed last week that Madrid have reignited interest in both Courtois and De Gea, adding that the former would be easier to sign.

And according to the Independent‘s Miguel Delaney, the hierarchy at the Bernabeu, despite coming minutes away from signing De Gea in 2015, believe Courtois will be an easier option to pursue once the transfer window opens.

The Belgian recently noted in an interview that Madrid – where his young family still lives – was still very much his home and claimed he wanted to go back there at some point in his career. And a sizeable offer from Florentino Perez – possibly in the region of £100m – may be too good for Chelsea to turn down.

De Gea, on the other hand, is thought to be relaxed with life in Manchester under Mourinho, and certainly isn’t angling for a move away like he was in 2015 during Louis van Gaal‘s time at the club.

David de Gea wins Manchester United points by himself, claims Petr Cech

David De Gea’s rise up from a much-maligned goalkeeper who struggled in the Premier League at first makes his current standing all the more impressive, according to Arsenal’s Petr Cech.

The Spaniard is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest shots toppers, having kept more clean sheets than anyone else in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

But his first couple of years at Manchester United after a record-breaking move from Atletico Madrid were full of criticism.

Cech, who was once himself seen as one of the best goalkeepers in English football while at Chelsea, hailed his rival for his current performances at Man United.

“Why I rate him is that he was struggling at the start. He had problems adapting to the league, people were saying ‘he’s too weak, he’s too slim, he doesn’t make saves’ this and that, he overcame that,” Cech said. “That shows you his real strength.”

The Czech Republic legend claimed that De Gea is single-handedly responsible for United winning certain points this season.

“If you imagine United without David de Gea, probably they would have less points, he makes so many important saves during the game,” Cech said.

The Arsenal Man knows that all too well after De Gea made an astonishing number of saves at the Emirates in a clinical 3-1 victory. That included a sensational double-stop to deny Alexander Lacazette and ensure United took the three points.

Games against Stoke City and Liverpool have also seen De Gea show just how essential he is to the club, with match winning or match saving moments.

David Moyes admits he understands why Evra kicked a fan at Marseille

Sympathetic

West Ham boss David Moyes has explained that he understands why signing Patrice Evra kicked a fan whilst playing for Marseille.

The Frenchman was set to play in the Europa League for the Ligue 1 outfit before an incident before the game.

Fans started to taunt the player and there were suggestions of racism, which prompted a response from the player.

Not only a response, the Frenchman went to confront the fans who abused him and it eventually lead to him kicking one in the head.

His contract was soon terminated by the club, leaving him a free agent before West Ham snapped him up this week.

Now, David Moyes has revealed that he has no qualms about what happened at Marseille.

“Do I have any concerns? No, not from what he told me,” said Moyes.

“He told me what happened, so none at all. It shows that he will stand up for himself and won’t take anything.

“I’d considered signing him during January as, when Arthur got sent off, I knew we were short.”

“I know him well, what he is capable of, what he will bring.

“His level of professionalism is as good as anybody’s and hopefully, we can get him ready as quickly as we possibly can.

“We have got him here to play. He could play against Watford, he’s not far away in my eyes, as he has been training.”

Patrice Evra discusses signing for West Ham in Premier League return

Moyes isn’t the only one talking about Evra’s move back to the Premier League.

The man himself has also been discussing a move which will see him rejoin his former manager in David Moyes.

Safe to say, he’s looking forward to getting back at it in the English top flight.

Episode 460 – David Ornstein on the January transfer window

Welcome to another episode of the Arsecast – the Arsenal podcast.

By any standards Arsenal have had a remarkable January transfer window. It’s been a long way from signing Kim Kallstrom, that’s for sure, and with me to discuss it all is David Ornstein of the BBC. We talk about the deals that went down, Alexis, Mkhitaryan, the influence of Mino Raiola in making that a reality, the pursuit and capture of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, how Olivier Giroud became something of a pawn in that deal, the new transfer dynamics at the club with Ivan Gazidis and Sven Mislintat very publicly visible, whether it means some of the power has been taken away from Arsene Wenger and lots more. Oh, and I ask him about the memes too.

Only a matter of time before David de Gea jumps ship at Man United for Real Madrid move, claims Bellamy

It’s only a matter of time before David de Gea finally decides to leave Manchester United to return to his home city and play for Real Madrid, claims Craig Bellamy.

The former-Manchester City player insisted that De Gea will eventually join Los Blancos despite rumours of a new long-term contract at Old Trafford for the Spaniard.

De Gea joined Man United for a record-breaking deal from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and after struggling for a couple of seasons, has established himself as one of the world’s best goalkeepers, a fact undisputed by anyone in football.

The consistency of De Gea’s quality makes tying him down to a new contract the biggest current priority for United. Bellamy thinks that’s unlikely, though.

“He is the real deal and I have always felt that Real Madrid have been looking for him to be their No 1 for a number of years,” Bellamy told the Sky Sports show The Debate.

“And it is just a matter of time before they get him.

“His footwork is brilliant, he anticipates as well, he can read forwards and if you watch, he makes a lot of his saves with his feet. He is incredible.

“He asks the forward so many questions when you are gunning down on him and he is a real top goalkeeper.”

De Gea is utterly irreplaceable. Real Madrid could offer in excess of £100m but United would not be able to secure the same quality in goal even with that money, and the club are hardly strapped for cash either.

Real Madrid, though, may prove more desperate than ever to secure their man this summer after coming close in 2015 – an administration error on a fax machine, so the myth goes, prevented the deal from going through.

The Spanish giants are miles away from FC Barcelona in La Liga and have looked far less of a force than the last two seasons under Zinedine Zidane. Club president Florentino Perez is reportedly keen for a huge summer with a spend of around £500m focusing on United’s De Gea, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

“Usually every top club has a rebuild and maybe it has been a little bit more overdue with Madrid because of the success of they have had in the Champions League,” says Bellamy.

“But I see De Gea being a huge part of that and Real Madrid do spend money, they always have done, they have been quiet over the last few years.

“So probably due to the fact that it will take a huge fee to get him and prise him away from Man Utd, I would be shocked if he did not go.”
