PAOK player celebrates goal with his son after he was bullied in school

Fernando Varela

PAOK beat Larissa 3-0 on Monday evening.

PAOK’s second goal was scored by former Steaua Bucharest defender, Fernando Varela.

The 30 year old headed home from Dimitros Pelkas’ corner in the 40th minute of the match. He then proceeded to run off the pitch and celebrate with his son who had been suffering from bullying at school.

Why was he bullied?

Varela’s son was taunted by his class mates due to his father’s own goal which came in a match last season against Olympiacos.

Varela had actually scored his first goal for PAOK earlier in the match but scored a disastrous own goal in the 25th minute. Olympiacos went on to win the game 2-1 with Crystal Palace’s Luka Milivojevic scoring a late late winner deep into added time.

The tweet above reads:

PAOK defender Fernando Varela, forgave himself by celebrating his goal with his son.

Varela’s son was ill-treated by his father because his father scored his own goal in the Olympiacos match at the beginning of the season.

Best celebration ever?

Varela’s celebration surely ranks up there with the best celebrations of all time.

Last season, Lionel Messi celebrated with a nice gesture (pictured below). The Argentinian was making a symbol to raise awareness for children suffering with cancer.

Antoine Griezmann celebrates with his hotline bling dance after all of his goals

Robbie Keane would always celebrate with a cartwheel and a roley poley whenever he scored during the earlier stages of his career.

Cristiano Ronaldo has made his ‘SIIIIIII’ celebration a trademark.

Gareth Bale also has his own trademark celebration.

Jennifer Aniston Celebrates Her 49th Birthday with Courteney Cox and Some Girlfriends in Malibu

Jennifer Aniston celebrated her birthday with her closest Friends.

The actress turned 49 on Sunday and marked her special day with a lunch in Malibu, California. Aniston was joined by pals Courteney Cox, Andrea Bendewald, Leigh Kilton-Smith and Kristin Hahn.

Aniston’s manager Aleen Keshishian shared a snap of the girls’ day out on Instagram Monday.

“#happybirthday to my sister from another mother #jenniferaniston u so much!” wrote Keshishian, who also represents Aniston’s closest friends Jason Bateman and Gwyneth Paltrow.

“We love our Jen. magical Malibu day. I love that this is taken by the kiddos!” author Mandy Ingber also shared on Instagram.

This year’s celebrations appear to be more low-key in comparison to last year when she vacationed in Los Cabos, Mexico, with Cox and husband Justin Theroux.

Prior to her birthday, on Saturday Aniston and Cox, 53, toasted Ellen DeGeneres at her 60th birthday bash in Hollywood that was also attended by stars Paltrow, Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian West and Chrissy Teigen.

Though Aniston and Cox have stayed close friends over a decade since Friends was off the air, a reunion with all their former NBC castmates may be unlikely, though not impossible.

“Anything is a possibility, Ellen. Anything,” the birthday girl told DeGeneres earlier this month on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, jokingly adding, “I mean, George Clooney got married … that’s like an anything can happen.”

Despite what Aniston said about the reunion possibilities, Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay on the hit ’90s sitcom, was asked about getting the gang back together for a reunion last year and she shot down the idea.

“Do you think you it would ever happen? Do you think you could get the group together?” Savannah Guthrie asked her on the Today show.

“Me personally? No,” Kudrow, 54, said. “But we have convened, privately, for dinner, and it was great.”

John Stamos Celebrates One Week of Marriage to Caitlin McHugh — at Disney World!

This is just the beginning!

In celebration of their first week of marriage, John Stamos and his pregnant wife Caitlin McHugh decided to take a fun-filled honeymoon to the happiest place on Earth: Disney World.

Clad in matching bride and groom mouse ears, the Fuller House star, 54, posted a photo on Saturday of the newlyweds sharing a sweet smooch in front of Cinderella’s castle.

“#oneweek (and they said it wouldn’t last),” he captioned the loved-up snap, before calling himself the “#happiestmanonearth.”

The 31-year-old model and actress — who is pregnant with their first child — also celebrated their marriage milestone.

“Perfect way to begin our #happilyeverafter,” she wrote, alongside a picture of the pair posing in front of a tower in the park with their celebratory mouse ears. McHugh also let her fans know that there was more to their outfits than might meet the eye.

“Can you guess who we’re #disneybound -ing as? Hint: I’ve painted the walls in the tower in the background,” she added, tipping off Disney fans that the couple was dressed as Flynn and Rapunzel from Disney’s Tangled.

McHugh is an active Disneybounder, aka a superfan who dresses up in character at the amusement park.

Stamos and McHugh tied the knot on Feb 3. at the Little Brown Church in Studio City, California, a source previously told PEOPLE. The reception was held at Stamos’ home in Beverly Hills.

McHugh wore a white, strapless ballgown with a tulle skirt, while Stamos wore a black tux. A source told PEOPLE, “Caitlyn looked absolutely stunning in a princess dress.”

“They exchanged vows in front of family and close friends. It was a very touching ceremony. There were tears, but mostly smiles. John and Caitlyn looked very happy.”

After almost two years of dating, Stamos, 54, proposed on Oct. 22, 2017, at Disneyland.

“The happened. Then I said, I better have a ring on her finger because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway,” Stamos told PEOPLE exclusively in December. “So I called her parents to ask, and it was like, ‘You better!’”

Before popping the question, Stamos screened a short film that he made of romantic moments from animated Pixar and Disney films, ending the display with The Little Mermaid — which encouraged him to “just ask the girl.”

“She loves Disneyland and , I got on my knee and asked her,” Stamos said. “I pulled the ring out. I don’t know how she did it, but she went to hug me and slipped her finger right in it. When the park closed, we ran around the park in our Disney onesies.”

The pair first met while filming an episode of Law & Order: SVU in 2011, but it wasn’t exactly love at first sight.

“I played a guy who was so egotistical that he thought he should spread his progeny, so he had like 60 kids or something. He was poking holes in condoms and stuff. And Caitlin, ironically, was one of the girls that I was trying to fool and have a baby with,” Stamos explained. “That was a long time ago. She was in another relationship. And we just met back up again. Her roommate was on an episode of Fuller House, and so she was in the audience. I walked in, I went, ‘Hey, are you stalking me?’ She was like, ‘No…’ That’s why I love her. She’s like, ‘What? No. I haven’t thought of you twice.’”

With the wedding now behind them, the newlyweds will gear up for their next major role — as parents. Stamos said that he and McHugh “talked about” having a baby in the past, and then everything just fell into place.

“We have the same morals and the same values, that all clicked nicely. So we said, ‘Oh, well, maybe we should have a family,’ ” Stamos said.

McHugh suggested, “‘Maybe we should have a kid ’ and I said, ‘Why?’ ” Stamos recalled, revealing she jokingly responded, “Because you’re old.”

The couple are overjoyed to be adding to their family — though they’re keeping mum on the baby’s sex for now — with Stamos admitting that he “always wanted to be a dad” but wasn’t sure it was in the cards until now.

I’ll be a fun dad. I’ve been practicing for a long time,” Stamos said, joking, “I’ve done every schtick you can do with a baby on TV … all the bits and jokes and diaper gags. I’ll probably just do all that stuff.”

McHugh described her new husband as “the biggest, most loving and generous heart of anyone I know.”

“I greatly admire his originality, creativity, ambition, work ethic and humor — all qualities I’m sure he’ll pass down to his child,” McHugh said. “He’s always been wonderful with kids, and I’m sure he will be an amazing father.”

Laila Ali Celebrates Her Cookbook Launch with a Dreamy Garden Party — See All the Photos!

Undefeated four-time world boxing champion and cooking extraordinaire Laila Ali can now add author to her resume.

The daughter of late boxing legend Muhammad Ali recently released her first cookbook, Food for Life, and she celebrated the book’s launch with a party at The Ponte Ristorante in West Hollywood with family and friends.

“We’ve been joking calling this my ‘book baby’ because I’ve developed it and nurtured it and now I’ve put it out there into the world,” Ali, 40, tells PEOPLE. “For me, it has been a labor of love.”

Among the attendees at the restaurant, owned by Ali’s former Chopped competitor and friend Scott Cunant, were friends Tina Knowles Lawson, Garcelle Beauvais and Carson Kressley as well as Ali’s husband Curtis Conway, daughter Sydney, 6, and son Curtis Jr., 9.

As Ali directed, Jesi Haack Design played off the title of the book for decorating and created an organic living herb wall that served a dual purpose — as décor and also as a gift for guests to take home and plant. Each cocktail table had a copper colander filled with a mix of anemones, eucalyptus, kale, cabbage and more greenery designed by Bloominous.

“I think that the cover is really beautiful in itself so it was nice to have that as a big backdrop but not to get too overcrowded with other things,” Ali says. “I thought they did a beautiful job bringing in fresh herbs and flowers and really bringing the book to life in the space.”

Guests munched on The Ponte’s recreation of three of Laila’s recipes from her book, including smoky shrimp cobb salad, cheesy quinoa and rice bake and sock-it-to-me-honey cake as they listened to ’90s R&B.

Ali, who learned to cook when she was 9 years old, says that creating a cookbook of her own has always been a dream, and that she first started thinking about writing one when she was in her early 20s.

“I had written down a lot of my recipes back then, and then I lost them,” she says. “I thought I was going to have a heart attack after taking the time to do that so it has definitely been a dream come true to do a real cookbook. This is what I wanted originally when I was writing down those recipes, to have something to pass down to my family and my kids for generations to come.”

Though boxing runs in the family, the now retired boxer’s kids are starting to follow in her footsteps when it comes to cooking.

“They really took an interest in cooking when I first competed on Chopped  because they remember me watching the show like a crazy person, trying to learn from it and practicing at home,” she says. “It became a game for them. We would play and judge. I noticed when you make it fun for kids, it makes them really get into it.”

When it comes to her recipes, Ali’s kids definitely have their favorites. Her daughter loves her greens, her son loves her spaghetti and both of them love taco Tuesdays.

“It’s not always an agreement with certain things, but I would say tacos and oven fried chicken wings are the pleaser for everybody,” she says. “Sometimes I feel like a short order cook in my house where I’m making different variations of meals.”

To Ali, it’s important that her kids see where their food comes from.

“I take them to farms and the farmer’s market and teach them that food doesn’t necessarily, unfortunately like a lot of people think, just come from a package or a drive-thru,” she says. “They know where food comes from so they respect food.”

Through Food for Life, Ali hopes to help other people take control of their health through the foods that they eat.

“There’s so many different levels when you think of healthy eating,” she says. “You got people who literally say, ‘I only eat organic vegetables and sprouts and nuts’ and things like that — I’m not one of those people. I choose everyday to eat the healthiest meal I can while still enjoying my food.”

Her book even includes a healthy take on the classic cheeseburger, which she named “The Greatest of All Time” in honor of her father, Muhammad.

“I remember when I was in the second or third grade, there was a little hole in the wall place he used to go to and they had the best burgers,” she says. “Like, they actually seasoned their meat with so many spices that the burger took on a flavor of it’s own. My father used to always order his burger a certain way — with mustard, onions and cheese.”

“Of course my burger, I’m saying to use grass-fed beef and whole-wheat buns if you can,” she continues. “That wasn’t what they had at the hole in the wall but it was definitely inspired by my father.”

Though her father didn’t cook, Ali says he “loved a good home cooked meal.”

“He would rather have a home cooked meal than go to a restaurant any day,” she says. “We grew up with a cook, her name was Edith, and she was an amazing cook. That’s when I had my first taste of a real, home cooked meal. I think that inspired me to want to cook myself.”

As to how Ali came up with the title of her book, Food for Life, she explains, “food creates life and it’s supposed to fuel your life.”

“I divided up the chapters with fun names to fit different scenarios in your life whether you’re dealing with picky kids, dealing with entertaining, want to make a 30 minute meal or you’re having dessert,” she says. “There’s no trendy food theory — it’s really straightforward, clean eating that will always be in style no matter what’s going on.”

Food for Life is available now.

“Less than two months to go🤰🏼✨,” Hamilton said last month. “Can’t wait to snuggle, nurse and just hold this lil baby!”

And while she hasn’t been surfing, the athlete said the experience had been “worth it.”

“The hardest part of pregnancy for me is not surfing!” she wrote in a December post alongside a snapshot of herself by the water, a surfboard resting against her back.

“I’m taking a lil break, but it’s soooo worth it!” added the mom-to-be. “Grow baby grow 🤰🏼✨😃
